I worked for the Muleskinner in varying capacities over the years: Design editor for three; Advertising designer for one; and as a freelancer the entire time – all while being a student. Some of the layouts below were created within the year after the paper switch from broadsheet to tabloid; others were only digitally published my last year, operating as the Managing editor after being placed in abeyance.

Missouri College Media Association - MCMA
Competing in Division 1 with the largest schools in the state of Missouri, the Muleskinner, the University of Central Missouri's student-run newspaper, earned third place in the Best Overall Newspaper competition in 2017.
